Commonly asked Guest  Questions

What is the cancellation policy?

Reservations cancelled greater than 30 days from check-in full vacation rental deposit, less $300 cancellation fee, is returned to the booking credit card.  Reservations cancelled less than 30 days from check-in forfeit the full vacation rental deposit.  The cost of Travel Protection Insurance is often less than the cancellation fee, and can be purchased up to your arrival date.  Contact Guest Services at 805-900-6000 for more information.  

What is Property Damage Protection?

While no one expects to damage a vacation rental property, accidents do happen. PDP is an insurance product from Customized Service Administrators (CSA).  The insurance product allows travelers to protect themselves from additional expenses should damage occur to a vacation rental property during their stay.  Once purchased, travelers are protected for up to a maximum of $5,000 against accidental damage to the rental home. Depending on your property, property damage policies are available in $1500, $3000 or $5000 increments.  Simply report any damage that occurred during your stay.  Don't be afraid to report the damage - that's why you buy insurance! Can I purchase Travel Protection Insurance?

Unable to travel because you're sick?  No problem!  Trip Cancellation coverage keeps you from losing your vacation savings if you need to cancel for a covered reason.  Travel Protection is offered by Customized Service Administrators (CSA) and covers more than just change in travel plans.  Travel Protection Insurance can be purchase up to the day of arrival. Check-in/Check-Out Time

Check-in after 4:00 p.m.  Check-out by 11:00 a.m. Often we have another traveler checking in the same day, please be courteous to our Housekeeping/Maintenance Teams in giving us adequate time to prepare for our next guest.  Also, please move your parked auto(s) from assigned parking space(s) to public streets.

Is Early Check-in or Late Check-Out Available?

We know you are excited to start your vacation. Contact us before your arrival date for early check-in. 

When is the refundable security deposit returned?

As outlined in the rental agreement, refundable security deposits are returned within 10 days of check-out.  It typically takes 3-5 days, depending on your bank, before the credit appears on the booking credit card.

Where do I pickup keys?

Seven Sisters Vacation Rentals properties have keyless keypad codes.  About a week prior to your arrival you will receive a Welcome Letter with entry codes, internet access codes, and other helpful information about your property.

Do I bring my own linens?

Seven Sisters Vacation Rentals properties are well stocked with professionally laundered linens and towels.  

Where is the closest grocery store?

Is there special pricing deals?

Yes! We post Last Minute Deals through FaceBook. Most properties offer mid-week specials (save when staying on Monday, Tuesday and Wednesday nights), and weekly and monthly special pricing is available. Look for our Last Minute Deals when booking within 7 days from arrival.  These savings, if available, are automatically calculated when requesting availability and quotes. Special pricing availability is based on season, length of stay and occupancy level.

Do you offer longer term rentals?

Yes!  Some properties are available for only longer term rentals. Contact a reservationist to assist in locating a long term rental.

Other items to bring...

For the safety of our guests, no food or seasonings are left in the vacation rentals. Many of our properties have built-in gas BBQ centers, while others have a Webber charcoal BBQ. Many of our vacation rentals have beach gear available too. It's best to check your property description for a complete listing of amenities.

What is Glad To Have You?

Glad to Have You is Seven Sisters Vacation Rentals' smartphone app.  Our helpful app gives you specific information about your property, for instance:  driving directions, wifi login, access codes, amenities, and other helpful information about your property and area services.
